Days 9-10: Warner Springs to Paradise Cafe

Day 9 

I’ve been pushing 20-22 miles a day since leaving Mount Laguna. Today was difficult. Most of the trail was covered in rocks, that made my feet ache. Days 5-8: Mt Laguna to Warner Springs

Day 5

I got a great night of sleep on the tavern floor. I was warm and didn’t get interrupted by my tent collapsing! All of us got up about the same time and started to push the tables back in place and clean up any messes we made. Days 1-4: a tale of extremes


I stayed with a large group of hikers at a Trail Angel’s house, Scout and Frodo. Trail Angels are people that assist hikers throughout the trail. About 30 of us were dropped off at the Southern Terminus at 7am by our Trail Angel host and volunteers. The start of the PCT!  Continue reading “Days 1-4: a tale of extremes”
